[ it's fortunate someone's thinking along these lines, actually, because lance definitely isn't. it's hard to tell if allura is, either, or if she is simply reeling from yet another planet's (planets) destruction and throwing herself into the busywork of the day-to-day just so she wouldn't have to think about it. lance had always meant to ask, but he never quite knew how to, plus it would mean he'd have to slow down and start thinking about his own feelings regarding the matter, and he's as much a creature not inclined to dwell on the negative stuff as she is social.
