--it's okay, Lance. Really! Now that I know where the ocean is, I can come here anytime. I'm fine with being at the grill. Besides, there's just something about seeing it and smelling the salt air that's... kinda all I needed.

Yeah, totally sure! I'm having a blast! There's nothing better than people liking your cooking, right?

Yeah, I guess that's true...

[ ah, well. perhaps she's more like hunk than she is like him. he can understand that much, at least. ]

Well — in that case, keep on keeping on! You're doing a great job. The party's a blast.

Aw, thanks! I'm really glad you're having fun. [She sighs, but it's a happy one.] I'm glad that we got to send summer off properly, you know?

Yeah... it kinda feels like it's been a long time coming, this kinda celebration, you know? It's nice to have an opportunity to just relax and enjoy ourselves.

[ayes]

Now that we know this place exists we can come back here all the time, but a party's a party.

[competing]

[ well then...! don't mind if he makes himself comfy on the sand again, arms folding behind his head. ]

Thank you! [She pauses.] Um, do you want a plate of non spicy takoyaki then?
